The Phoenix Bolo Slicer was a custom request for a first-class large ham slicer. The nose of the slicer has been bulged out and raised , transforming the flatter edged Phoenix Slicer into a hybrid between a tradition slicer and a butcher knife. The flared pommel of the modified pistol grip design places greater power and grip towards the back of the hand while the thinner neck gives incredible control and maneuvering.>
Whether tackling a freash leg of ham that’s been salting and curing for 12 months or a meticulously prepared ‘Tur-duk-en’ for a Thanksgiving feast, the Phoenix Bolo Slicer will allow you to create a culinary masterpiece with ease!
With a balance point just in front of the beautiful Spalted Birch Wood handle scales, this knife wants to go to work as soon as it hits the cutting board!

These knives have been meticulously designed to offer exceptional ergonomics providing you with the precision and control you would expect from a world class kitchen knife. All of the Phoenix Series knives are hand forged from either 5160 or 1084 high carbon steels.
A properly heat treated high carbon steel will out perform ANY stainless steel currently on the market. As with all high quality kitchen cutlery, these knives must be cared for. These are NOT dishwasher safe and should be washed by hand only.
