The largest of my Operator Series designs, the Yetti Slayer has a 16.5 inch blade, heavily inspired by the Kopis and Falcata swords of the Ancient Greeks…and blended with the Rough Forged and Antiqued style of my Operator Series blades.
The forward curve of the blade makes this a much more effective machete that a conventional straight blade, as the object being cut is drawn along the natural curve of the blade and forced into the ‘sweet spot’. The Yetti Slayer features a ‘forged’ guard where the underside of the knife behind the blade was forged in and mushroomed over providing a natural and comfortable guard. The end of the full-tang handle has also been forged back around to create a Falcata-style hand guard.
The Yetti Slayer’s sheath is a heavy-grade leather with the back spine of an African Wildebeest hide inlay. The sheath is built as an Operator Sheath, in that it is compatible with a PALS setup and can be carried in a variety of positions. As always, my sheaths are hand-stitched and sealed for water resistance.

– To Be, Rather Than to Seem –
The Operator Series is the culmination of my drive to build a series of knives that just plain work. The ergonomics are designed to maximize comfort and usability in a variety of grip positions. The primary difference between the knives in this series is only their size. Each model features very similar ergonomics and balance.
Much of the evolution of this series has come from the feedback of actual military and PSS Operators who have used these blades in the field. Whether your a member of the armed services or just an avid hunter or outdoorsman…these knives will be an indispensable part of your gear!
