Crafted in recognition for achievement, this knife is a beautiful piece of work! Though it will likely never see use, it is more than capable. I went with a more traditional style bowie on this one. I added some shape and rope file work to the brass guard and filed a ‘collar’ in the ferrule, giving a little more class to the design.

The brass butt cap was cut and hand filed into the shape of the Sheriff’s star, then pinned into place. The handle itself is a beautiful piece of Desert Ironwood, sanded and buffed to a semi-gloss finish. The knife has a balance point just barely above the guard, giving it a great feel in the hand and offering excellent control. The taper and flare of the handle provides added comfort to the grip.

This sheath sports the initials of the owner worked in with the basket weave. As always, my sheaths are hand stitched and sealed for water resistance.
