- Description
-
Asman was the Persian God of the Sky and this knife shows its influence well. A more traditional style of the Persian slicing blades, this knife is designed with a variety of solid, comfortable grips for various fighting styles. It feels as natural in a reverse grip as a forward grip and the thumb ridges along the middle of the blade spine allow the thumb to seat perfectly for a higher, expanded grip. The ‘horn’ at the end of the handle works as an excellent seat for a rapid cross-draw of the blade.
The Ambonia Burl handle is accented by an inlay of Desert Iron Wood and boasts ferrules of Iron Wood and Water Buffalo Horn. This is a truly remarkable and elegant weapon.
The sheath, designed as a cross-draw, is hand-stitched and sealed for water resistance.
